No idea of nature can be scaro-sanct, since nature itself is evolutionary.
That does not mean that there is something incorrect, but, evolution is based on an idea of gradient, which indicates a flow from and to.
Thus, Ayurveda like all sciences is evolutionary, and hence, the literature of Samhita is directional.
As a directive it can be a guideline, leaving room for, reinterpretation, and, thus a wider, deeper understanding and application.
Worshipped as sacro-sanct it becomes untouchable and hence stagnant, which fails the idea of education.
